Bishop Flaherty Assembly

We have before us a new year and a new decade. Barbara and I wish all a blessed and prosperous future and express our hopes in your continued success in all of your endeavors. You are the Bishop Flaherty Assembly and as attested by the superb support you have enthusiastically rendered in the past year you certainly work the wonderful if not the impossible. My prayer is for the continuation of Assembly efforts in promoting Patriotism and the encouragement of like minded brothers to join our ranks. We have an exemplification coming in Fredericksburg on Saturday May 22 that will be followed by the Fall exemplification in Richmond on Saturday October 23, 2010. An effort spearheaded by our Faithful Captain Sir Knight Thom Harrington is advertising the dedication of the new All Saints Church in August as a call to third degree Knights to complete their fourth Degree in order to actively participate in the dedication.
As you all know, we have been adding the words "for the born and the unborn" to the end of the Pledge of Allegiance for a long time. As you also know, these words are not part of the official Pledge of Allegiance, which ends with the words "with liberty and justice for all".
